Your Customer is Ready for the Smart Home

As the elderly population continues to expand, there is more to learn about lighting for the elderly and how to tailor your products and services to respond to their particular lighting needs.  This session will include:
·  The implications of new research on lighting for vision and health.
·   Need-to-know information about residential lighting design and applications as found in the new IES Lighting Standard “Lighting and the Visual Environment for Seniors and the Low Vision Population”

·    A discussion about the product and services needed  by ALA manufacturers and retailers to serve and expand their business for this growing elderly demographic
