Lighting Associate
The Lighting Associate Program of courses covers the basics of lighting and lighting design. Each course is around 45 minutes in length and explains the fundamentals of the subjects described below. The courses are offered for ALA members in webinar format with voiceover.
Any ALA member is eligible to become a Lighting Associate by completing all 10 of the Lighting Associate online training courses and passing the LA final exam.
Note: 1 CEU authorized by National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) 
Courses will be available online at the ALA member store. You will receive your user name and password once you purchase the course. Note: You must purchase all 10 courses to be enrolled in the LA final exam.
NOTE: Lighting Associates certified after Oct. 1, 2010, must recertify every two years by earning 2 CLC credit hours through ALA-approved training. The CLC credit hours may be earned at any time within the two-year time frame. Recertification fee: $20.
